Pineapple Topping Pizza Recipe:
Preparation Time : 40 min
Cooking Time : 18 min
Yield : 2 pizza
Ingredients :
For the dough:
All purpose flour - 3 cups
Active dry yeast - 1 small pack or 1/4oz
Sugar - 1tspn
Warm water - 1 cups
Olive oil - 2tblspn
Salt - 1tspn
For the sauce:
Tomatoes - 1can or 28oz
Onion- 1 small finely chopped
Garlic - 1 clove minced
Oregano - 1tspn dried
Basil - 1tspn dried
Olive oil - 2 tblspn
Sugar -1/2 tspn
Salt - 1/2 tspn
Water - 1/2 cup
Toppings:
Pineapple- 1 cup small chunks
Green capsicum - 1small sliced
Onions- 1 small sliced
Chilli peppers - 1tspn
Shredded mozzarella cheese -1 cup
Dough :
Take a big mixing bowl,combine the water,yeast,stirring to combine.Allow the mixture to rest for about 5 minutes.Add Flour little by little and the salt,sugar,mixing by hand until it is well combined and the mixture is soft.It will be little sticky.Put dough into a floured surface and knead the dough is smooth and soft about 3 to 5 minutes.Still little sticky.Take a mixing bowl and apply little oil.Place the dough in the bowl and coat the dough with olive oil.Cover with Plastic wrap and let it rest in warm place about 1 and half an hour or until double the volume. Now pizza dough is ready.
Sauce :
Take heavy bottom sauce pan add oil and heat in medium high.Now put garlic and chopped onions,and fry them.Cook onions until they are soft.Add canned tomatoes and stir to combine.Add water and add salt and sugar.Then add oregano,basil,Reduce the heat and cook for about 30 minutes.Pizza sauce is ready.
For the pizza :
Preheat the oven 450 degrees F.Place the crust on a pizza pan,spread the sauce over crust in circular motion with the spoon so,it reaches the edges.Add the toppings and chilli peppers evenly around the surface,then follow the cheese. Bake pizza on top rack until the crust are crisp and brown and cheese is melted on top about 12 to 15 min. Remove the pizza from the oven and cut into slices and Enjoy.
