Boondi Ladoo Recipe :
Preparation Time : 15 min
Cooking Time : 45 min
Yield : 25 ladoos
Ingredients :
Gram Flour / Besan - 2cups
Water - 3/4 cup for batter
Sugar - 2 cups
Water - 1/2 cup for syrup
Any kind of Nuts - 1/2 cup chopped
Oil - for deep fry
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tspn
Color - 1/2 tspn (optional)
Directions:
First take a bowl and add Gram flour and water, then mix it into batter.Add color and mix it.Now heat the oil in a pan and take a bowl with holes and make boondi like the picture below.
Fry the boondi about 2 min only.If you fry the boondi more than 2 minutes it will turn into crispy boondi and you will not be able to make a ladoo.
Next fry the nuts and put it on the side.Then take a sauce pot and add sugar and water.When it is getting boiled keep stirring until it becomes into two string consistency.Check the two string consistency with your thumb and index finger.
Then turn off the stove and mix the boondi and nuts into the sugar syrup.Next make balls with hand. While making ladoo touch cold water to cool down your hand from the hot boondi.
Now the ladoo is ready,but do not put directly into box.Wait for a little while ,so it won't get sticky.Take the ladoos and put into a container.Enjoy!
