Pineapple Walnut Upside Down Cake

Pineapple Walnut Upside Down Cake Recipe:

Ingredients :
All purpose flour : 1 and 1/2 cup
Baking powder : 2 tspn
Canned Pineapple pieces : 7 pieces
Sugar : 3/4 cup
Butter : 1/4 cup for cake
Butter : 1/4 cup for caramel sauce
Lime juice : 1tblspn
Milk : 3/4 cup
Egg : 1
Vanilla essesnce : 1 tspn
Brown sugar :1/2 cup
Walnuts :10 qty toasted
Zest of lime : 1 tspn
Cherries : 7



Directions:
Preheat the oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Take a mixing bowl, add butter for cake and sugar blend it well.Add egg and blend it,then add flour,baking powder,milk,lime juice, vanilla,zest of lime and blend just well combined.Put the batter a side. Now take a pan and melt butter on the stove,when butter is melted add brown sugar and mix well.
Now take 9 inch cake pan and add the caramel brown sugar mixture around the cake pan arrange pineapple slices and walnuts on top. Place a cherry in the center of the pineapple.
Now pour the cake batter evenly and bake in preheated oven 45 minutes or until insert toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and place it on the cool rack for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Turn the cake upside down in your serving plate.Serve with or without a dollop whipping cream.Enjoy it.
