Ravva Upma


Ravva Upma:

Preparation Time : 10 min
Cooking time : 15 min
Yield : 4 People

Ingredients:
Ravva/Sooji - 2 cups
Water - 4 cups
Onion - 1 medium chopped
Green Chilli - 3 chopped
Red Chilli - 1
Curry Leaves - 4-5
Oil - 2 tblspn
Musterd Seeds - 1 tspn
Jeera - 1 tspn
Chana Daal - 1 tblspn
Cashews - 1 tblspn
Peanuts - 1 tblspn
Urad dal - 1 tspn
Salt - to Taste
Description :
First on the stove.Take a pan and put on the stove.Have the stove on at medium high.Then put the oil in the pan, Next add the mustered seeds to the oil.
When they are splutters add penuts,cashews,chana dal & urad dal.Now fry for 1 minute. Then Add chopped onions, green chillis,curry leave, and red chillis.Fry them for about 2 min.
After that add 4 cups of water and add salt for taste.Mixed very well  and taste the water for enough salt.Wait until until water boiling and now lower the flame, then add Ravva/Sooji slowly with one hand and mix with other hand.
Put the lid on and cook on low flame for about 10 min.Mix the upma in between. Now the upma is ready to serve.Enjoy this breakfast item, yummyyyyyy!!
